​Kimberly Bernier was born and raised in Montreal, QC. After marrying and starting her family, she moved to the Nation's Capital of Canada and pursued a carrier as an RN in Labour and Delivery. After retiring from nursing due to illness, she set forth on a new journey and adventure in art. Completely self taught, Kimberly has tapped into a remarkable and unique talent. She specializes in pastel paintings and is a member of pastelartists.ca, the Association of Animal Artists, and a handful of art societies in Ottawa and the surrounding area.  Kimberly's artwork has been featured on the Rachael Ray Show on the CBS television network. She has painted pet portraits for numerous clients including Kortney Wilson's pug Donny, from HGTV's Masters of Flip. Kim has collaborated over the past two years with Canadian musical artist, Jann Arden, in order to raise funds for The Alice Sanctuary. Kimberly has had the honour of winning two Artist Recognition awards in Art and Color 365 and has been published twice in their magazine.
